About Us

The Ohio State University Office of Human Resources reports to the Executive Vice President and Provost. More than 150 staff members serve the university's employees daily. Services are provided at three main locations around the Columbus campus.

Locations

South Campus Gateway building

1590 N. High Street, Suite 300

The majority of Human Resources departments are located at the corner of E. 11th Avenue and N. High Street including: the Associate Vice President's Office, Administration, Benefits, the Customer Service Center, Organization and Human Resource Consulting, Payroll, Management Information Analysis and Reporting, and Veterans Affairs.

Computer kiosks are available in our Customer Service Center for applying for open positions and viewing employment opportunities online. Most human resources-sponsored training and development occurs in this building, including New Employee Orientation, and the BEST and STEP programs.

Managed Health Care Systems building

700 Ackerman Road, Suite 580

This location houses Managed Health Care Systems, the Faculty and Staff Wellness Program, and the University Faculty and Staff Assistance Program.


Parks Hall

500 W. 12th Avenue

The University Health Connection is an on-campus urgent care provider that is part of Managed Health Care Systems.


Child Care Program building

725 Ackerman Road

The university's Child Care Program is a multi-site program available to Ohio State faculty and staff. The Ackerman Road facility can accommodate more than 300 children ages 6 weeks to kindergarten.


Buckeye Village Child Care Program building

2724 Defiance Drive

The Child Care Program's Buckeye Village facility is available to Ohio State faculty and staff and can accommodate more than 100 children ages 6 weeks to preschool.

The mission of the Office of Human Resources is to provide quality human resource services to faculty and staff in support of the university’s teaching, research, and service objectives.
