STEP is a series of twelve workshops for supervisors designed to build capacity to manage, plan for performance, improve performance, and respond to workplace challenges.
How does STEP work?
To successfully complete the series and receive a certificate of recognition, participants must attend all twelve workshops. There is no time limit for successful completion of the series.
What will I gain from participating in STEP?

In Your Words...
“The STEP program has kept my supervisory skills up to date and has made the learning process fun! I would highly recommend the program for both "old" and "new" supervisors who wish to continue on the path of learning.”

“The STEP program gave me the skills to not only be a better supervisor, but a better human being. The experience was insightful, delightful, and hugely rewarding.”

“Even though I thought I knew a lot, I realized that I had a lot more to learn. Getting to know other supervisors and learning from them was my favorite part of STEP. We were able to share what worked, and what was disastrous, with our colleagues from all over campus.”
