*Faculty and staff who participated in the Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) program for the 2007 plan year (January 1 – December 31, 2007) are reminded that the deadline for submitting reimbursement requests was March 31. Requests received after March 31 will not be processed and any remaining balance will be forfeited per IRS guidelines.

*Beginning in January 2008 and due to a decision by the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, a portion of employer contributions to Alternative Retirement Plans will go directly to OPERS instead of the accounts of individual employees. More information is available here

*The 2007 Benefits Open Enrollment Period was held October 1 - 19, 2007.
