Walking is one of the most convenient forms of aerobic (cardiovascular) exercise. It takes only a good pair of shoes and you’re set to increase your fitness and improve your health.
May is Celiac Awareness Month
Celiac disease is not an allergy. It is an autoimmune reaction to gluten that causes damage to the small intestine. As a result, the intestine cannot effectively absorb needed nutrients. Gluten is a protein found in many processed foods but mainly in wheat, barley, and rye. Typical symptoms include abdominal cramping and gas, bloating, diarrhea, and/or constipation.
